Undergraduate Program

The Academic support virtual office (BUreau Virtuel d’Accompagnement ACadémique (BUVAAC)) for baccalaureate students is open from Friday January 15th to Tuesday April 20th 2021. It is closed during public holidays and during the spring break: March 1 to 5, 2021.

Studies

 

 The Polytechnique Montréal Chemical Engineering Program offers you solid basic training, focused on professional practice and using the latest technologies.
The key components of the program of studies are process design, chemistry and physics, mathematics, life sciences, materials, computer science, sociology, economics and ethics.
Sustainable development principles will form an integral part of your training; you will learn how to use methods such as life-cycle analysis to measure and optimize the impact of various processes.
The Chemical Engineering program will teach you: thermodynamics, material and energy balances, calculation of chemical reactors, exchange phenomena, unit operations, etc.
Comprehensive projects and process design will also be part of your training. Thanks to the versatility you will acquire, you will be able to work in a multitude of industrial sectors.
