To the Heart of Knowledge: 150 Years of Library Service at Polytechnique Montréal
September 25, 2023

Just like its home institution, Polytechnique Montréal’s Louise-Lalonde-Lamarre Library has been in constant evolution since 1873. It is with pride that it adds its personal touch to the university’s 150th anniversary celebrations.

From September 25 to November 30, 2023, visit the Library's entrance hall (L-7600) and retrace the history of this service through an exhibition of magnificent old books that belonged to its original document collection.

The Library collaborated with the Archives office so that this immersive exhibition may be interspersed with photographs and artifacts that illustrate Polytechnique Montréal’s Library at different times of its history. You'll also find a timeline that highlights milestones in the Library history.

Snacks, tea, and coffee are offered during breaks!

WRITING RETREAT October 10-12 2023: For the first time ever, the Library will be holding a three-day Intensive Community Writing retreat during reading week!
