Departmental Welcome session (Master, DESS and Ph.D)

To find out everything about your academic journey and to meet your department's resource people, don't miss your welcome session! Students in a double degree program will be invited to this activity next term, following their admission to the Master's program. A specific welcome session is intended for them.

International Student Welcome Activity

This is a welcome and networking evening for new international students. You will have the opportunity to meet your fellow students in a friendly environment with fun activities to get to know each other! 


Undergraduate, exchange, preparatory year and cluster students

Evening reserved for undergraduate, exchange, preparatory year and cluster students. The presentation and activities will be in French.

Issuance of social number for international student

Service Canada will be there to issue Social Insurance Numbers to international students.*

GO-Poly Information Kiosks

These kiosks, hosted by experienced students, are located in key areas of Polytechnique. Members of our team will be happy to answer your questions and help you find your way around the school.

WHEN:

  • From Monday August 21 to Friday August 25 - 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • From Monday August 28 to Friday September 1 - 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

WHERE:

  • Lassonde buildings: 1st floor, at the entrance of M-1000
  • Main building: 2nd floor, Vitrine étudiante
Guided Tours

Led by experienced students, the guided tours are a great way to discover Polytechnique in a different way! The tour includes a visit to the Louise-Lalonde-Lamarre Library and a tour of the major buildings on campus.
