Maksim Skorobogatiy is now OSA Fellow, 2018. The society (founded in 1916) is the main organization for scientists, engineers, students and business leaders in the science of light.

Maksim is being honoured specifically for his pioneering contributions to the development of micro structured and photonic crystal multi-material fibres and their applications to light delivery, sensing, smart textiles and arts.

Maksim is the 3rd member in our department (with Michel Meunier and Raman Kashyap), to become OSA Fellow.
