All about the Library services and resources during the pandemic

Wearing a surgical mask is not mandatory in the Library.
The Library is open to all. Check our opening hours.
You must make a reservation to use a study room.
You may freely access (without a reservation) the other places and bookshelves. Please follow the rules in assigned areas for silent individual work. Teamwork is allowed in collaborative areas.
Bring your Polytechnique Montréal ID card and make sure you are aware of the Instructions and guidelines established by the institution.
Visitors from outside of the Polytechnique community: no specific action is required.
To find out how to borrow, visit our Borrowing page. If the document you are interested in is already on loan, you must reserve it.
Return of documents
You must return your documents in the Library bookdrop located at the Library entrance.
Journal articles and book chapters can be scanned and emailed, according to the fair dealing provisions of the Copyright Act. Visit our website to learn about our scan service.
