Detailed description
This project aims to develop an advanced nanoparticle platform for mRNA delivery, based on a chitosan-mRNA core coated with a hyaluronic acid (HA) coating functionalized with neurotargeting peptides. The student will work on the development and optimization of chitosan derivatives for the formulation of the mRNA nanoparticle cores. They will explore different chitosans (DDA/Mn, quaternized or PEGylated chitosans), optimize formulation conditions (N:P ratios, microfluidics, additives), and characterize the particles using a reference analytical panel (Stunner AF, DLS, AF4, etc.).
Financing possibility
