Amélie Tanguay
Amélie Tanguay has been Interim Vice President of the Talent, Culture, Environment and Society Department (DTCES) at Polytechnique Montréal since July 14, 2025.
Biography
Amélie Tanguay holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial relations from the School of Industrial Relations at Université de Montréal. She has over 18 years of experience in human resources management, primarily in highly unionized environments.
Ms. Tanguay has been Director of Talent and Culture at Polytechnique Montréal since February 2022. A recognized expert in institutional strategy and labour relations management, she has been part of many major projects, including the implementation of an organizational climate plan that incorporates diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and occupational health and safety.
She previously served as a strategic advisor in the Administration and Resources Department from 2020 to 2022. Prior to joining Polytechnique Montréal in 2014, she held various positions in the private sector with organizations large and small, mainly in labour relations and human resources management.
