As a member of the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN), Polytechnique’s Library benefits from consortium agreements negotiated with commercial academic publishers. Discounts facilitating open-access publication within these publishers’ journals are now available for Polytechnique’s community of researchers. Finally, we wish to remind all authors that most editors will allow for the deposit of their article in preprint format on Polytechnique’s institutional repository, PolyPublie.
Focusing on the development of Quebec’s mineral resources, Ressources & Industrie: Mines discusses topics such as technologies, innovation, the industry’s development and environmental issues. Within this magazine, you will find in-depth articles presenting topics of current interest that are related to Quebec’s mines. Please remember that you can make use of the Library’s scan service in order to obtain articles from the printed collection in digital format.
As of May 5th, a new feature is activated in the Sofia Discovery tool. This feature allows you to request documents available within Quebec’s 18 academic libraries network (BUQ) even more easily. You will only need to reserve the needed document by clicking the “Request“ option within the resource’s bibliographic record. You will be able to follow up on reservations’ statuses and loans’ due dates for documents checked-out through Quebec’s academic libraries network by accessing your user file in Sofia under “My Account”. La Bibliothèque s’est procurée les archives en version électronique de neuf revues du fournisseur INFORMS spécialisé en recherche et analyse opérationnelle. Toutes ces revues sont maintenant disponibles de leur volume 1 jusqu’à l’année 1997 en format numérique et ce, de façon perpétuelle. Ainsi, Interfaces, Management Science, Mathematics of Operations Research, Operation Research, Marketing Science et Transportation Science pour ne nommer que quelques titres sont maintenant disponibles électroniquement par l'entremise de Sofia. Les années plus récentes de certains de ces titres sont conservées en format imprimé. N'hésitez pas à communiquer avec nous pour obtenir plus d'information.
La bibliothèque est maintenant abonnée à la revue Ressources & Industrie. Énergies . Cette publication porte sur le portefeuille énergétique du Québec, tant en matière d’énergies traditionnelles que d’énergies renouvelables. N’oubliez pas qu’il est possible de demander des numérisations d’articles pour cette revue ainsi que pour toutes nos revues imprimées.
