Les listes de septembre 2023 sont maintenant disponibles.
Just like its home institution, Polytechnique Montréal’s Louise-Lalonde-Lamarre Library has been in constant evolution since 1873. It is with pride that it adds its personal touch to the university’s 150th anniversary celebrations.
From September 25 to November 30, 2023, visit the Library's entrance hall (L-7600) and retrace the history of this service through an exhibition of magnificent old books that belonged to its original document collection.
The Library collaborated with the Archives office so that this immersive exhibition may be interspersed with photographs and artifacts that illustrate Polytechnique Montréal’s Library at different times of its history. You'll also find a timeline that highlights milestones in the Library history.
Dive into the heart of knowledge!
Completing graduate studies at Polytechnique Montréal?
The Library, in collaboration with Polytechnique Graduate Student Association (AÉCSP), invites you to an Intensive Community Writing session held especially for you. This session will allow you to optimize your written communication practices while working on your research project in a motivating atmosphere that allows you to bond with other graduate students. Snacks, tea, and coffee are offered during breaks!
WRITING RETREAT October 10-12 2023: For the first time ever, the Library will be holding a three-day Intensive Community Writing retreat during reading week! This retreat has been created to allow the graduate student community to take advantage of this quieter time on campus to get a jump on their master’s/doctoral projects.
For more details on how the workshops work and to register, check out the ICW events in the Library's activity calendar.
Throughout the term, the Library offers presentations and workshops on various tools and work methods targeted to optimize your student experience. Most of the presentations are also relevant to teaching and research staff, or are aimed directly at this group (Open Access Publishing, Research Data Management Plans).
NEW: A majority of presentations are now offered in bimodal format. Choose if you prefer to attend on-site or virtually!
Browse the Library's activity calendar and register for the presentations and workshops that interest you.
By configuring the proxy on your device, you'll be able to access all the Library's electronic resources off campus.
The configuration procedure is available on the Library website (under Services – Off-Campus Access).
Short explanatory videos are also available on the Library's YouTube channel.
