It goes without saying that the last few years have brought their share of challenges. The Library is thus proud to present a summary of its accomplishments during this period of constant adaptation. The 2019-2022 Accomplishments Report is now available on the Library's website. You will find it on the Accomplishments tab under the "About Us" section of the main menu. Please note that the report is only available in French at the moment. On the Accomplishments page, you will also find annual statistics related to the various components of the Library's mission.

Writing your thesis or dissertation? Please know that using a template in LaTeX or Word format is mandatory. In addition, these templates will help you make sure that you are following with Polytechnique's publication standards.
You can find the latest versions of the LaTeX and Word templates under the Guides, Templates and examples at Polytechnique Montreal tab of the Publishing a Thesis or a Dissertation guide. This guide also includes lots of tips and useful resources. Among other things, you will find the Graduate Studies’ Guide for Presenting Theses and Dissertations. A tab containing important guidelines for writing a Dissertation or Thesis by Article has also been added recently.
The Library would like to thank student Grégory Giard and his professor, Mr. Frédéric Sirois of the Department of Electrical Engineering, for their excellent work in updating the bilingual LaTeX template.

The Library is glad to announce that, following its subscription to Science, you now have access to all articles that have appeared in this academic journal since 1970 in digital form. Published by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Science is one of the world’s most prestigious academic journals; it encompasses scientific articles of interest for all research areas covered at Polytechnique Montréal. Please note that, for the time being, the Library’s subscription to the printed version of this journal will continue as well.
In addition to this new subscription, the Library acquired Science Classic, which grants perpetual access to the digitized version of everything that was published in Science from 1880 to 1996.
