The Library team marks the beginning of the fall 2023 semester by hosting events in its spaces (L-7600 of the Pavillons Lassonde) over the next few weeks:
- Thursday, August 31, 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Lemonade stand (free!). At the Library entrance. Bring your own cup!
- Thursday, August 31 and Thursday, September 7, 12 to 1 p.m.: 3D printing demonstrations by the Library's computer systems technicians. In the entrance hall. Take the opportunity to ask your questions!
- Thursday, September 7, 12 noon to 1 p.m.: Biblio 101 workshop. In the Library's computer lab (L-7607). Start the session off on the right foot by learning everything you need to know about our resources and services. Registration required.

The Library presents its What to Do in Montreal? Pinboard – 2023 edition. On it, you will find a host of activities to make the most of the city's warm weather, plus a list of pedestrian streets to discover Montreal at your own pace. The pinboard is located at the Library's entrance.
On the exhibition wall in the entrance hall, there is a selection of new books from the Cultural Collection. Summer reads on the menu!

Here are the Library hours from Monday, July 3rd to Friday, August 11th, 2023:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: Closed
