FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND SCHOLARSHIPS

Making your academic endeavour a success requires good financial planning. Making a realistic budget will limit any financial issues you might encounter during an academic year. The team from the Service aux étudiants de Polytechnique (SEP) that is responsible for financial assistance and bursaries is there to help you in this process by offering:

  • Information on the Loans and Bursaries program of the ministère de l'Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur (Financial assistance for students);
  • Various workshops (for example, making a first request for financial assistance for students, financial assistance to Emploi-Québec, or a scholarship);
  • Information on available scholarships and work-study programs;
  • Emergency assistance programs (emergency assistance loan, food stamps, external resources).

Each year, Polytechnique Montréal students receive nearly 2 million dollars in bursaries of all kinds, either because of an excellent academic record, involvement in various areas of society, academic perseverance, etc.
