Discovery Seminar for Graduate students
With Moncef Chioua, adjunct professor in Chemical engineering at Polytechnique Montreal
Abstract
As industrial plants become increasingly complex, the tasks of operating and troubleshooting them become more complicated. With the increased amount of stored data, troubleshooting an abnormal process situation relying solely on visual inspection is tedious. In this presentation, after introducing the general concept of process digitalization, we will describe projects achieved collaboratively between academia and industry to illustrate the benefit of using modern process data analytics methods.
