The mobile robotics and autonomous systems laboratory at Polytechnique Montreal hosts faculty and students focused on developping more capable and robust automated and autonomous systems, with a focus on mobile robots deployed in environments shared with humans (ground and aerial autonomous vehicles, factory robots in proximity to operators, etc.).

We are interested in many of the challenges posed by the development of these systems, in perception and navigation, control systems, real-time planning and decision-making under uncertainty.

Currently, the laboratory has three faculty members affiliated with the department of electrical engineering: Richard GourdeauJérôme Le Ny, et David Saussié.
