Résumé :
A brief survey of work done during my thesis will provide evidence that segmentation and registration can be unified in a single formulation. The talk will present a broad variety of experiments, with their results, that eventually lead to the development of the Spectral Demons algorithm. This new algorithm may be a key element in unifying several graph-based segmentation methods and surface or volumetric registration. A final discussion will aim at determining possible future work and potential collaborative research.
