
Our Undergraduate Research Internship Program offers students enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in science or engineering at a Canadian university the opportunity to receive competitive funding to undertake a 16-week research internship in Summer 2027, under the supervision of a professor at Polytechnique Montréal.

Our research teams offer exciting research internship opportunities that span multiple engineering disciplines. Most of the proposed projects can also be continued as part of a master’s and/or doctoral degree.
The full list of research projects available for Summer 2027 will be announced in September 2026.
16-week internships (35 hours/week), from May 3 to August 20, 2027
Each participant selected for the program will receive a competitive financial package designed to support a rewarding and immersive research experience. This funding includes:
All participants will be offered accommodation at the ZUM University Residences for the duration of their internship. Located directly on campus, the residences are less than a three-minute walk from Polytechnique Montréal. The program coordinators will take care of making the necessary reservations.
Participants who do not wish to take advantage of this accommodation offer will instead receive a $2,700 salary supplement to help cover their living expenses.
