The Library and the AECSP invite graduate students to a hands-on workshop on writing. Discover ways to create an environment more conducive to writing and learn practical strategies for writing efficiently. Translated from French and adapted with permission from the Thèsez-vous? organization. The workshop will be led by librarians Élise Anne Basque and Christine Brodeur.

Note: This is a practical workshop. Bring your own computer (or you can borrow one from the Circulation Desk) and a document you would like to work on. It can be your dissertation or thesis, an article, or an academic assignment – the choice is yours!
Schedule:
- 8:45 a.m.: Welcome with coffee and snacks
- 9:00 – 9:30 a.m.: Introduction
- 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: 3 X 50 min. periods of writing, separated by 10-min. breaks (more coffee and snacks provided!)
- 12:30 – 1:00 p.m.: Conclusion
