Inside look: Tools for ecological transition and internship at the United Nations
In facing climate change, societies must choose the best strategies to rise to the challenges.
In the first part: overview of concepts, stakes, and existing tools to confront current environmental challenges. Social responsibilities of corporations, life-cycle analysis, urban resilience, industrial symbiosis, circular economy, environmental economy (is carbon tax effective?), geoengineering, etc.
In the second part: How to apply for an internship at the United Nations? Some advice in order to live this rewarding experience.
Biography
Camille Proulx recently obtained a master’s degree in circular economy after completing a bachelor’s degree in chemical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal. From an exchange in Sweden to study Sustainable Engineering, to a stint in Kenya to work on the development of the Faith for Earth Initiative of the United Nations (https://www.unenvironment.org/about-un-environment/faith-earth-initiative) her goal is to promote durable production systems.
