International student

Some 1,200 international students attend École Polytechnique de Montréal.

Our Bureau des étudiants étrangers (International Students Office) is available to:

• provide you with the information you need to plan your move to Montréal;
• welcome you to your new educational institution;
• give you the support you need throughout your stay with us.

The office is also your liaison with immigration authorities, making sure your status and authorizations are in line with Québec education ministry requirements.

Adapting to a new academic and social environment can be hard for many students.

We can also help you surmount any social and personal adaptation problems you may encounter as you acclimatize to Montréal, and set your mind at ease on any number of fronts. The Bureau also encourages and supports initiatives that promote intercultural activities at Polytechnique.
