Paper by Professor Yves Comeau honoured by journal Water Research

A paper by Professor Yves Comeau of the Department of Civil, Geological and Mining Engineering was singled out by the editors
of the American journal Water Research, who called it one of the 10 most remarkable articles to be published in the journal in
the last 40 years.
The distinction is all the more significant since Water Research, the most important publication in the field of water quality, has published no less than 10,000 papers over the last four decades!
Titled A Biochemical model for enhanced biological phosphorus removal, Professor Comeau's paper, which was published in 1986, applies a biochemical model to what remains a little-understood phenomenon.
