Professor Larry Lessard, from McGill University, works in the field of composite materials recycling. He will be presenting recent projects on the subject of recycling and sustainable development. In addition, Professor Lessard has just completed a bicycle trip around the world to promote these ideas and to shoot a documentary film on the subject.

The Bike62 project cycled around the world from July 2022 to August 2023, covering over 22,500 km, 20 countries, and making presentations to 30 institutions and universities with the aim of rethinking how composite materials are designed, used and reused in an environmentally friendly way.
