Training objective: The aim of this training course is to introduce students to the key concepts of ethics and integrity in research, with an emphasis on the safety and responsibility incumbent on them as future researchers. It also presents the relevant regulations and best practices for conducting research with integrity. Topics covered include managing conflicts of interest, signing publications, data management, mitigating safety risks, ethics of human and animal research, etc. At the end of the presentation, students will have a better understanding of why they should have integrity, their responsibilities, the rules of ethics, integrity and safety in research, and good research practices.
