In solidarity and in support of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women on December 6, some people wear a white ribbon whose inverted "V" shape reflects the desire to say "No to violence".

You can also cyber-wear a white ribbon by using the Facebook frame created for the occasion. Go to Facebook, click to edit your profile picture, select the "Add Frame" tab and look for the frame entitled “Polytechnique – ruban blanc” (in English: “Polytechnique - White Ribbon”).
