SAS Institute has been a thought leader in analytics for over 40 years. It first began in 1976 as a statistical analysis system (SAS) but has built upon this platform and has extended significantly in many industries covering a large array of different and complex business problems. SAS focuses on helping access, manage, analyze and report on data to aid in decision-making. This lecture will give an introductory overview of the technology and solutions SAS offers, as well as information on academic resources available to students who want to get started with SAS.
