COMMUNITY REPAIR WORKSHOP
November 20th, from 4 PM to 7 PM, at Hall Lassonde (1st floor Lassonde Building), come meet repair volunteers during the 7th edition of the Repair Café at Polytechnique Montréal.
Over a coffee or tea, the repair brigade will offer you free support in repairing your defective items:
• small appliances (toaster, coffee maker, etc.)
• bikes
• clothing and other clean fabrics (sewing workshop)
• computers
Registration opens at 3:45 PM.
First come, first served.
Only one item per person is accepted.
Some recommended items:
• Kettle
• Coffee/espresso machine
• Computer (without physical damage)
• Toaster
Some rejected items:
• USB cable
• Microwave oven
• Earphones (earpod type)
• Digital music player, tablet
• Power bar
• Electronic equipment with physical damage (e.g. broken screen, significant deformation, etc.)
How to get there?
Metro: Université de Montréal
Once at the station, follow the signs for Polytechnique Montréal to get to Lassonde Building. Follow the pedestrian route (green dotted line) between the metro and the Lassonde Building on the “Accès Polytechnique Montréal” map. Entrance 2A on the map.
Paid indoor parking is also available directly in the Lassonde Building. Once parked, go down to the 1st floor..
