Reducing GHG emissions in Canada : A formidable challenge

Reducing GHG emissions in Canada : A formidable challenge

A public conference unveiling the results of the Trottier Energy Futures Project (TEFP).

The TEFP is the first attempt to undertake a comprehensive quantitative engineering analysis of Canada’s future energy systems, with the goal of achieving an 80 per cent reduction in GHGs by 2050, relative to 1990 levels.

Made possible through the generous financial support of the Trottier Family Foundation, this project was jointly sponsored by the Canadian Academy of Engineering and the David Suzuki Foundation.

The presentation will be given by Dr. John Leggat, FCAE, President of the board, Trottier Energy Future Project
