Professor Yves-Marie Abraham from HEC Montreal will give a lecture titled "Outline of a degrowth policy", on Friday February 4th from 2:00 to 3:30 pm as part of the SBES workshop "Non-technical aspects of engineering through simulation and innovation".

As a current of thought, sustainable degrowth is first and foremost a radical criticism of our civilization. However, this criticism is now leading to increasingly clear political proposals, which this conference will present and discuss. Some of the implications of this degrowth policy for the engineering world will be discussed.
