You may have heard recently: Microsoft has completed the acquisition of Xamarin !! But not only that, following the acquisition and during the #BUILD2016 conference Microsoft announced that Xamarin and Xamarin Studio are now available for free to anyone who wants to take the opportunity to write once and compile native code for all major platforms !!! 

What a great way to end the semester by learning how mobile app development is now made easy with what Microsoft offers!
