Hello, It is with great excitement that we announce the launch of our recruitment period for the judging positions for the three programs: FIRST Techno Challenge; FIRST Lego League and the FIRST Robotics Competition! ** We are looking for volunteers for the judging positions!

** JUDGING ROLE - FIRST Techno Challenge (January 2022) The main role of a judge in the Techno FIRST Challenge is to interview the teams, and decide which teams deserve a prize based on the team interviews, the robot, the match play, and the engineering portfolio.

JUDGE ROLE - FIRST Lego League (Qualifications in February 2022 and the Festival in March 2022)

The role of a judge for the Lego FIRST League events involves observing and evaluating teams in the following three categories: innovative project; robot design and core values. J

JUDGE ROLE - FIRST Robotics Competition (April 2022)

The duties of a judge in the FIRST Robotics Competition take place before the festival itself. Responsibilities include determining award recipients by interviewing team members and acting as a role model for youth.

You wish to register as a volunteer judge? Please follow the steps to register:

1. All volunteers must create a FIRST profile at: www.firstinspires.org

2. Under the "Volunteer Registration" menu, click on "Event volunteering". You will be able to search for the event you are interested in.

3. Select the "Judge" role.

4. The system will prompt all volunteers to follow a link to a background check site.

5. Once this is complete, we will contact you again with the next steps to complete your training.
