This workshop will be given in person and online simultaneously.

This workshop is an introduction to LaTeX on the Overleaf platform and to BibTeX, a tool for citing and creating reference lists in your documents.

You will also learn how to create tables, equations, and footnotes, as well as how to insert figures in LaTeX.

The bilingual LaTeX template for Polytechnique theses and dissertations will also be presented.

Purpose

• Understand the structure of a .tex document;
• Create a .bib file of bibliographic references;
• Add and import new references;
• Produce an IEEE-style bibliography in a LaTeX document;
• Use the Polytechnique bilingual thesis and dissertation template.
