This workshop aims to introduce students to the fundamental principles of ethics, integrity, and safety in research in the context of science and engineering. It provides an introduction to the regulatory frameworks governing responsible research conduct, including institutional policies, funding agency requirements, and standards for research ethics involving human subjects, research data management, scientific integrity (publication authorship and conflicts of interest), and research safety.
