She will be giving a talk entitled: ‘Understanding and supporting people leaving domestic violence: issues and challenges for research and professional practice’. Charlotte Vanneste has a doctorate in criminology and is a senior researcher at the Institut National de Criminalistique et de Criminologie in Brussels and a lecturer at the Université de Liège. She will be speaking on the subject of ‘Criminal justice and escape from intimate partner violence: a focus on some research findings (Belgium)’.
