*** Free event *** COMMUNITY REPAIR WORKSHOP
On October 30th, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, at the Lorne-M.-Trottier Atrium (3rd floor of the Lassonde halls), come meet repair volunteers during this new edition of the Repair Café at Polytechnique Montréal.
Over a coffee or tea, the repair crew will offer you free support in repairing your defective items:
• small appliances (toaster, coffee maker, etc.)
• bikes
• clothing and other fabrics (sewing workshop)
• computers
Registration opens at 3:15 PM. First come, first served. Only one item per person is accepted.
Some accepted items:
• Kettle
• Coffee/espresso machine
• Computer (without physical damage)
• Toaster
Some rejected items:
• USB cable
• Microwave oven
• Earphones (earpods)
• Digital music player, tablet
• Power bar
• Electronic equipment with physical damage (e.g. broken screen, significant deformation, etc.)
How to get there?
• By metro: Step out at the Université-de-Montréal station. Once at the station, follow the signs for Polytechnique Montréal to get to the Lassonde halls. Door 2A on the plan.
• By car: Paid indoor parking is available directly in the Lassonde halls. Once parked, go down to the 3rd floor.
