You are invited to a conference with two exciting presentations organised by the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) in partnership with the AÉCSP.
The first presentation (in English) will be given by Professor Jinghui Cheng of Polytechnique Montréal. We will explore the best practices and guidelines in designing AI-empowered applications, leveraging knowledge from human-computer interaction (HCI).
The second presentation (in French) will be given by Éric Dahan, Nvidia's director of sales for Canada. We will decode the mysteries of deep learning and machine learning, as well as explore how this technology will impact the future of post-production and how artists and technologists will be able to take advantage of these new creative digital assistants.
A networking session will precede the presentations, where drinks and food will be offered. The conference is free but it is recommended to register in advance on Eventbrite before March 2 at 5 p.m. (https://www.facebook.com/SMPTEMTL/).
