WHAT
- ACEC Engineering Student YouTube Contest!
WHO
- Students currently enrolled in an engineering program at an accredited Canadian university
- Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to enter
- Students can work individually or in pairs – groups of 2 only
WHEN
- The contest is now open! The deadline for submitting video entries is Sunday February 1, 2015 at 11:59 PM EST
HOW
- Make a 2-minute video about consulting engineering. Suggested topics may include, but are not limited to:
- Why I want to be a consulting engineer
- Why consulting engineering is a great field to build a career
- How consulting engineering changes people’s lives
- How consulting engineering shapes our world
- Pushing the limits of consulting engineering
- Upload it to YouTube
- Confirm your submission by emailing the link to your YouTube video tolallardyce@acec.ca and be sure to include your name, university, engineering specialty, and phone number in the correspondence.
- Wait to hear if your video is the winner!

- For the chance to meet consulting engineering industry leaders
- To learn about the many benefits and opportunities that await you in a career in consulting engineering
- For the opportunity to attend a consulting engineering industry event and network with industry leaders. Note: ACEC will cover travel and accommodation expenses.
