The White Rose Scholarships blossom for an ever-greater impact
Since 2025, the White Rose Scholarships have broadened their scope. The scholarship program now extends well beyond financial support to offer talented young women in engineering mentoring and leadership coaching. This expanded vision, made possible by generous support from the Circle of Benefactors of the White Rose Scholarships, helps pave the way for the next generation of women in engineering as never before.
We warmly thank the members of the Circle of Benefactors — the McCall MacBain Foundation, the Trottier Family Foundation, The John Dobson Foundation, Axium Infrastructure, The Ralph M. Barford Foundation, Polytechnique Montréal, as well as Hilary Pearson and Michael Sabia — for their commitment, and generous support of this initiative.
Committed to women in engineering
The Circle of Benefactors of the White Rose Scholarships is a group of generous donors who actively contribute to nurturing talented women in engineering and building a more inclusive, sustainable future. Their support makes it possible not only to award valuable scholarships but also to create an environment in which the recipients can realize their full potential.
Fourteen $50,000 White Rose Scholarships are now awarded each year to young female graduating students who wish to pursue graduate studies.
These scholarships are accompanied by a two-year leadership and mentoring program, enabling recipients to develop their skills and draw inspiration from the leaders who are shaping the field.
To date, 24 scholarships have been awarded to 24 recipients from coast to coast. A total of more than $1 million has been distributed to help the next generation of women in engineering pursue their ambitions.
The White Rose Scholarships are growing with the aim of building an engaged and supportive community, dedicated to the advancement of women in engineering.
