Biography
I am a professor at the mathematics and industrial engineering department of Polytechnique Montréal. Previously, I held a position as a researcher (junior then senior) for 11 years at the Institut de recherche pour le développement in Montpellier, France. In this context, I spent the last two years in Tunis, Tunisia, at the École Supérieure des Communications de Tunis. I completed all my degrees at the university of Montreal (B.Sc. in pure mathematics, M.Sc. in computational and mathematical finance and Ph.D. in computer science). I had two postdoc fellowships in France (at Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l’Environnement near Paris and at Inria near Grenoble) before I started my position in Montpellier.
