Antoine Jacquey, professeur au Département des génies civil, géologique et des mines, explique que les sols argileux, très présents dans les zones densément peuplées du Québec, sont difficiles à prévoir et réagissent fortement aux changements climatiques et aux charges excessives, ce qui rend essentiel d’investir dans leur étude pour mieux prévenir les glissements de terrain.
