Biography
Dwight Houweling is a civil engineer specializing in wastewater treatment. With over 15 years of industry experience, he has led innovative projects on nutrient removal, activated sludge intensification, and the development of aerated membrane biofilms. His research and consulting activities focus on optimizing biological processes, mechanistic modeling, and enhancing existing treatment infrastructures, including lagoons and biofilm technologies.
