Biography
Moncef Chioua is an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal. His research focuses on process data analysis with applications in industrial processes monitoring and process operators support systems.
Prof. Chioua was a member of the process data analysis and optimization research group at ABB Corporate Research Center in Ladenburg, Germany between 2008 and 2020. He was a member of the process control research group at PAPRICAN, Pointe- Claire (now FP- Innovations) from 2003 to 2004.
Prof. Chioua holds a PhD. from Polytechnique Montréal, an engineering degree from the École Supérieure des Sciences et Technologies de l'Ingénieur de Nancy (ESSTIN) and a Diplôme d'Études Approfondies (DEA) from the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine (INPL).
