Innovative Materials
Research areas description
The Aluminium Research Centre – REGAL is a strategic cluster who focuses on research concerning the aluminum as a material, from its primary production to the development of forming and design processes up to the conception of new alloys. It aims to create synergies by bringing together researchers from seven of Quebec’s educational institutions, small and large companies as well as various socio-economic actors in this industry.
The REGAL brings together 38 regular members, 45 collaborator members from the public and private sectors, and about 170 students. In this regard, the REGAL continuously recruits students for Master’s and Doctoral research projects, as post-doctoral internship, attached to various departments of the participating universities. It is also possible to obtain a postdoctoral fellowship or work as a research assistant.
