Ramin Karimi Azari is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Engineering Physics at Polytechnique Montréal. His research focuses on advanced materials and innovative fabrication processes, bridging neuromorphic computing and battery technologies. He employs in operando and in situ techniques to study charge transport, response time, and interfacial dynamics of synaptic transistors for advanced device applications in artificial intelligence (AI) and energy storage. He also serves as coordinator of the Collaborative Research and Training Experience in Sustainable Electronics and Eco-Design (CREATE SEED) program. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering Physics from Polytechnique Montréal and his M.Sc. in Photonics.
