Three students rewarded for their personal electrical engineering projects (ELE3000)
On August 14, awards were presented for the best projects completed as part of the Projet personnel en génie électrique (personal electrical engineering project) course (ELE3000). Once again, the students demonstrated great rigour and presented high-quality projects.
Under the guidance of a professor or engineer designated by the department, students were assigned an engineering design mandate. They were asked to produce a professional-quality report that generally included a review of past work, the definition and situation of a problem, the chosen method and solution, the results obtained and a discussion. The project concluded with a poster presentation.
Three prizes were awarded by the jury:
1st prize: $500, Anis Rili: Design and production of a mechanical arm.
2nd prize:
$300, Alexandre Chrétien: Bacterial bioconvection.
3rd prize: $200, Carlos Arturo
Palomino Mier: SME network management tool in a web environment.
