Machine Competition
The only disappointment in the Poly team's results this year came in the Machine Competition, the Engineering Games' most
important event and the one with the heaviest weighting in the final scoring. The event could not be included in the final
tabulation this year because the course design failed to meet specifications.
"Our machine performed really well," team member Jonathan Arpin explained. "It even got around the course with very little
trouble, something not many of the other teams can say about their entries. If the Machine Competition had been included in the
final score, I'm sure we would have amassed even more points."
