Professor Lionel Bertrand receives a Minister's Award

Lionel Bertrand, a full professor in the Department of Engineering Physics, has received a Prix du Ministre de l'Éducation from the Québec Minister of Education, Recreation and Sports for his Lasers course material, which Mr. Bertrand designed for undergraduate engineering physics students.

Professor Bertrand was presented the award by the minister, Jean-Marc Fournier, during a ceremony held in Rimouski on June 8, 2005. These Minister's Awards are designed to highlight the outstanding quality of teaching material produced in French and to pay tribute to educators at the post-secondary level.
