Raman Kashyap named Fellow of the Optical Society of America

Raman Kashyap has been named a Fellow of the Optical Society of America in recognition of his major contributions to research
into, and applications of, fibreoptics filtering, specifically Bragg gratings.
The prestigious distinction, conferred upon only 7% of the Society's 14,000 members around the world, underlines the
significance of Professor Kashyap's work and its impact on a wide range of telecommunications applications.
