Raman Kashyap named a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC)

Raman Kashyap, a full professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Department of Engineering Physics, has been awarded the title of Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC).

A full professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Department of Engineering Physics, Mr. Kashyap is also holder of the Canada Research Chair in Future Photonics Systems, a member of the Centre de recherche avancée en micro-ondes et en électronique spatiale (Advanced Research Centre in Microwaves and Space Electronics - POLY-GRAMES), the Centre de recherche en électronique radiofréquence (Centre of Research in Radiofrequency Electronics - CREER) and the Groupe PolyPhotonique (PolyPhotonic Research Group), and a Fellow of the Institute of Physics.

This prestigious title is awarded every year to 20 candidates from among the 35,000 members of the EIC's technical societies in recognition of their excellence in engineering and the services they have rendered to their profession and to society.
