Professor El-Kébir Boukas publishes work on controlling complex systems

December 9, 2005 - Source : NEWS
El-Kébir Boukas, Full Professor with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, has just published Stochastic Switching Systems: Analysis and Design with Birkhäuser publishers.

The work is a synthesis of the author's research findings over the last few years in the field of controlling complex systems. Problems discussed include stochastic stability and filtering.

Providing a wealth of examples, Stochastic Switching Systems: Analysis and Design is ideal for self-guided learning. The book will be of interest to engineers working in dynamic system control, as well as researchers and graduate students interested in stochastic control.

The work is Professor Boukas' fourth.

Stochastic Switching Systems: Analysis and Design may be ordered from Birkhäuser online at: http://www.springer.com/sgw/cda/frontpage/0,11855,4-40109-22-36290317-0,00.html
