Professor Arthur D. Pelton receives the J. Willard Gibbs Award for contributions to phase equilibria theory and calculation

Professor Pelton, professor emeritus in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, received this honour at the ASM International Annual Awards Dinner held October 19 in Houston, Texas.
The J. Willard Gibbs Award was established in 2007 to recognize outstanding
contributions to the field of phase equilibria. The award honours J. Willard Gibbs, one of the greatest theoretical scientists
in the United States.
