The team, lead by André Bazergui, an associate at Innovitech and former Director General of École Polytechnique, was formed in December 2004 following the Forum of Generations. The aim was to find workable solutions for the problem of internationally trained/educated workers who want to speed up their access to professions governed by professional associations, and in so doing accelerate their entry into Québec's workforce.
